Aftermath & Repair Coaching

When you don’t recognize what you did and now you have to live with it

There are moments in life when something shifts internally and, almost without warning, your behavior shifts with it. You may look back on a period of time and feel a kind of disconnection from yourself. Things were said that you wouldn’t normally say. Choices were made that don’t align with who you understand yourself to be. Sometimes there is harm involved, sometimes regret, and often a lingering question that doesn’t resolve easily: how was that me?

What tends to remain is not just the memory of what happened, but the emotional weight of trying to carry it forward. People often describe feeling split between accountability and confusion, between knowing they have to take responsibility for the impact of their actions and simultaneously feeling like they don’t fully recognize the version of themselves that acted in that way. Over time, this can become a place where shame and self-questioning start to take over.

Aftermath & Repair Coaching is designed for that space.

This work is for people navigating the emotional and relational consequences of periods where their internal state, behavior, or sense of control changed in ways that feel difficult to integrate. Sometimes this follows hormonal treatments, illness, psychiatric medications, significant stress, sleep disruption, or other biological factors. Sometimes there is no clear explanation at all, only the lived experience of “I wasn’t myself, but it still happened.”

The focus here is not on determining a single cause or reducing everything to one explanation. Instead, the work centers on understanding what occurred, how it is being carried internally, and what it means to move forward with clarity rather than fragmentation.

This work is not therapy in the medical or psychological sense. It does not involve medication management, diagnosis, or legal evaluation. It is a structured space for people who are already carrying responsibility, and who are trying to find a way to carry it without losing themselves in the process.

The aim is not to rewrite what happened. It is to help you remember it clearly, take responsibility accurately, and move forward without abandoning yourself in the process.
