Embrace The Transition

Transitions with chronic illness are never requested and they can feel like paperwork, fatigue, and grief rolled into a ball and set on fire. It becomes the realization that the life you planned is not the life you are living, and what comes next is far from certain, yet there is a strange freedom in that moment. Once the old GPS stops working, you are no longer a prisoner of the past and you are able to build a life that actually fits the body you are wearing every day. You can let go of timelines, comparisons, and the demands that did not fit into this new reality. You can choose a life that is here now, imperfect and unpredictable, where meaning is not found in returning to the past but in discovering that you are still capable of creating value with a new story. You can fight the transitions, but that will only make the journey more difficulty, so embrace the transition become someone new, a permission to open yourself to the next chapter of life.
