Past Isn’t Coming Back

The energy that once made everything seem possible now arrives in unpredictable scraps. The old dreams start to feel like artifacts from another person’s life. It is easy to spend years arguing with this reality and trying to win back a body that no longer plays by the same rules. That fight drains the strength you have left. Coping begins when you stop demanding the past return and start asking questions about what kind of life can still be built with the body that exists today. The dreams will look smaller on paper. They may unfold slower and in ways you never imagined. Yet there is something stubborn and honest about learning to build meaning with unreliable energy and aching bones. It is not the life you planned. It is the life you are handed, and it still asks you to show up to find out what could be next. With no magic beans to sell, pull up and chair to share where you want to go from here, just as it is.
